OMGWTFIAMABADBADGIRL!!!ONEONE!!!LOL
So, I'm driving home after working out and stopping at my mom's to pick up some markers and stuff (thanks to the shitty markers that my "grandmother" gave me for my birthday), and I get pulled over by a cop. Turns out I was going 44 in a 35 zone. Ooooooops.
Thankfully, he decided that my license was so new, I didn't really "need" a ticket. Instead I got a warning and learned that my license plate expired yesterday. So I have to replace that. >_>
Waiting
Waiting for a chance to fly,
Waiting for an alibi,
Waiting for the bell to ring,
Waiting for most anything,
Waiting for my lunch to cook,
Waiting for my favorite book,
Waiting for the day to end,
Waiting with my two best friends,
Waiting for the rain to start,
Waiting to heal my aching heart,
Waiting for my wall to crumble,
Waiting for myself to stumble,
Waiting for the night to fall,
Waiting for God to end it all,
Waiting for a brand new day,
Waiting for a place to stay,
Waiting for the sun to set,
Waiting for what I'm destined to get.
The Stars
Looking up into the night,
I can see the Northern Lights,
Stars and swirling supernovas
Spinning round the universe.
Black holes and comets glowing bright,
Stuck at an enormous height.
I wish I were up there with them,
But wishing only makes it worse.
I want freedom and forgiveness,
Privacy in all my business.
But people make life such a chore,
Taking away all the fun.
Life is never what it seems,
I wonder is it just a dream?
Tell the stars to sacrifice me
To the rising sun.
I know they're not that good, but they're a lot better than I can do now. I think I'm too entrenched in prose to churn out a decent poem now. So I hit my poetry peak around seventh or eighth grade. How sad.
