Quick question

How soon after you meet a person is it okay to ask them out? Like, say you met someone who you got along with pretty well, and had a lot in common, etc... Do you ask them out after a week or two of getting to know them? Or a couple days? I mean, if you wait too long it'll be more of a friends thing, and a lot of people don't want to touch that... Arg. I don't know. I'm going to bed.

Think it depends largely on your own perspective. Myself, I'd wait a week or two. There are certain things about a person that you can find out quickly as a new friend that you won't see if you're dating. People do usually act a little differently towards possible romantic interests than just to friends. But really, it's up to you.
