I completely forgot that in Sociology we have a media project due on Tuesday. It's supposed to concentrate on how the media constructs race/class/gender, and we "may use any format you want to including, but not limited to, illustrations, poster collages, poetry, music, shadow boxes, etc. ... Although you may choose the format of your projects, keep in mind that you will be graded on creativity, effort, and how relevant your project is the social construction of race, class or gender in the media." (That's what's in the syllabus, typos, messed up grammar and all.) So I figure it shouldn't be too hard to do either a poem or poster board on the representation of Asians in the media.

Would a series of haikus be too cliche, you think?

And it looks like I'll be able to drop my Precalc class and still have twelve credits after all; I just need to pick up a volleyball course. It would be too late to do so, except the course is only seven weeks long, starts in a week or so, and it's one credit so I'll just have enough credits to remain a full-time student here. I'll only be getting half the money back for the Precalc course, and I'll get a W on my transcript, but it doesn't do anything to my GPA, so that's okay. Besides, I haven't even been able to do the homework, the work is so above me, and that can't be good for my grade...

Damn, I don't want to go to work tomorrow. 8:00 shifts suck. ;_;
