Yup. School is in two days; the glorious process of edjamakayshun begins anew. Now, if we could only get rid of the dumbshits that have overrun what is the largest public school in the county, maybe I'd enjoy going there.
I've had my school supplies for a couple weeks now; new backpack, six college-ruled 70-page spiral notebooks (with perforated pages!1!!1!111ELEVENTYONE), six relatively nice folders (only two with designs, and none of them are vomit-inducingly cute, either, thank gods...), two cute-ish three ring binders, an abundance of black pens, and for pretty much no reason, a big fat permanent marker.
Ya'll KNOW I'm gonna be running back to Meijer's to grab a couple things that I either forgot or didn't know I need.
Of course, I'm looking forward to school. I will be for the next week or so, three if I'm lucky. I'll get to see my friends again, meet new people, flirt with a couple unsuspecting guys once I weed out the ones who won't run away screaming... you know. I'll be occupied instead of sitting on my ass all summer being bored. And then once the first month is over, I'll be wishing school was out, because I won't want to do my homework, I won't want to do ANY work, I'll be pissed off at all my classmates and half of my asshat teachers, etc. Tell me, doesn't everyone go through this, except for the people who either hate school with a passion or the ones who love it more than their own mothers?
Gotta get good grades this year. No more nearly-passing. No more slacking. Must pass, preferably with all A's, must not screw up and ruin all chances of getting into college. ACT will only carry me so far. Must... get... out... of... Jackson!

So, I just joined this Legend of Zelda rp. Seems pretty cool; applied as Ruto, and I THINK I got accepted. Pretty sure, anyway, as the mod contacted me via AIM and insinuated that I'm in. Gosh, I hope I don't screw it up.
