Yay, good day!

Went to Lansing with Nick today. He sent me to the wrong mall - I ended up at the Lansing Mall instead of the Meridian Mall - and I had to get directions and go find him. Luckily, they're both on the same road. I bought some books, including a manga for Tiffany, the second Hellsing soundtrack, and Nick split the cost of a shirt I wanted as a Christmas present. I spent too much money and three and a half hours in a crowded, over-heated mall today, but it was all worth it. I'm feeling pretty good, especially considering I was starting to get depressed on Friday. (On a side note, Nick now apparently finds it amusing to tease me by saying that Mike and I would make a good couple. It's really, really hard not to punch him when he says these things. I already slipped up and did it earlier. Must remember that violence is not the way to get boys to like me!)

I gave up on the rest of my knitted presents; I don't have the time or the patience to try to get those hats done, so I completely frogged them. I have to go out and find a watercolor set for Cate tomorrow. I hope there's something relatively well-priced at Michael's, because I'm not sure where else to look. After that, I have to go to Mom's and take care of the cat, and in the evening is the family Christmas Eve party. Hopefully this year my cousins won't decide that it's funny to cause physical pain to people by zapping them with a gag computer mouse, the cousins I like will show up, and my dad won't be so wasted that I have to drive him home.
