Had a pretty good day today. Went to work at Jan's house today instead of in the office -- so instead of wearing slacks and a blouse, filing papers, I wore the normal jeans and Tshirt and cleaned windows. I prefer the windows.
We were supposed to get our pics for our senior IDs taken today, and locker assignments. I meant to do that after I finished the windows, squeezing it in before 1:45 so that Jennie's mom could pick me up and we could go to the mall to hang out for her birthday... but when I got there I was told that it would take an hour to get through the line. And I had ten minutes. I'll be going to the retake day. ^_^;
So, anyway, we (Jen, me, Sammy, Chels, Rose, Adam, and Jessica) hung out at the mall, I got vol. 6 of RuroKen, we played around at the arcade for a while, and then we rode the bus to the Thunderbird and hung around there until it was time to go. Good way to spend the day (and dad's money, hah!).
Annnnnd then it was youth group. I was late, dur, but it wasn't anything much to miss, just a game night. Katie almost broke my neck when she hugged me (running tackle hug!). And there were a few new people, including this guy TJ who was really cool -- he draws too, and he doodled in my sketchbook. Silly guy thinks he sucks and kept apologizing for the drawings, when I kept telling him that I liked them! And then I spent about a half hour talking to him afterwards. He's pretty cool (anyone who knows me can take one guess as to what this will lead to). Says he'll bring his portfolio for me to look at next time he goes to YG, which I'm looking forward to as he says he draws a lot of dragons. Must... look!
Oh, and Dad forgot it was Wednesday and was ready to bitch me out when I got in, as I was supposed to be in at 7. Um, dumbass?
