copperbadge's views on the subject. I'm gonna talk about Tonks here, because I was thinking last night.
I think her subdued personality throughout the book was a combination of things, and not just OMGROMANCEWOES! like Merope Gaunt. Yes, she was angsting over Lupin; I think she was also angsting over Sirius' death, trying to cope with the imminent doom and gloom hanging over the wizarding world (because, if you hadn't noticed, the whole book has had a much more subdued and unhappy feel to it), and generally trying to grow up. I think she didn't feel as if there was a place for her antics, and that she needed to be older, wiser, more mature, for people (namely Lupin) to accept her. Or something like that.
Okay, end of semi-smart talk.
So I got my AP German test results yesterday. I got a 2. Which isn't BAD, it's just... well, it's around average, maybe a little below, and it means I don't get any college credits. *sigh*
