Well, that's what you get when you mix politics with people who are firmly set in the good ol' days when women wore hoop skirts and everyone had to walk ten miles to the general store.

No one should have to stand for that. The article's a good start; now we just need more people to get out there and protest, ESPECIALLY the people that this measure is affecting right now.

Wow...I mean seriously wow. I'm pretty much pro-choice but that article was a bit much. I can see that there should be some outrage but this guy really needs to think about what his word choice and tone are putting across here... I mean honestly that article was a pain to read. It shows intense bias that will make lots of people immediately discredit anything he says. On top of that its a guy writing this... unless Mark is a girls name now.

So you're saying a guy can't support a woman's right to abortion? That a person can't be biased and personal when writing an article? An editorial, no less, when the author is expected to voice his or her opinion?

Personally, I think it's a good thing when there are men on the pro-choice wagon and pushing for women's rights, especially in the area of sexual health. A good majority of politicians (and a good majority of pro-lifers *cough*) are white men -- a group of people who will NEVER, EVER, EVER have to worry about whether or not abortion is available to them. They don't have to worry about supporting a kid, since men aren't physically attached to a child for nine months -- they can just deposit the sperm and go off on their merry way. They don't have to worry about complications with pregnancy, or whether or not it's a good idea to bring a kid into the world, and you have to admit that most guys would rather not stay home and change dirty daipers and play "open up the hangar to let the airplane in!" with baby food while the mother's off at work. I say, the more guys we have on our side, the better!

Better no men than this kind of rabid, myopic ranting.

Well if that guy is the kind you want on your side you are going to lose. I have no problem with the "pro-choice wagon" but dear god write an article that doesn't make you look like the self rightous douches you claim to be fighting.
