Well, it seems that the problem with my computer is that my hard drive is failing most spectacularly, and it's going to have to be replaced. And of course, since it can never be just one thing going wrong, they can't seem to get any of the data stored on said hard drive to back it up, and it's quite possible they won't be able to before they replace it. Which means, of course, that all my music (all ten gigs of it), all my writing, all my favorites, all my drawings and saved pictures of cute fuzzy kittens, all of it is most likely gone. I'm pretty pissed right now, because I really should have backed up all my music, at least, to my external hard drive, like I've been planning to for a while now. That's the first thing I'm going to do when I start downloading more music. I guess I'll have to see if ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
codenamelily still has a copy of my fanfic, or if it's still in my email somewhere, because I do want to rewrite it eventually. And I'm having WoW/laptop withdrawals, and that's not good. Grawr.
Also, I don't want to go to work today. Someone go in my place, please.
