No RP yesterday. Spawnie cries. But then, when your RP group consists of six or seven people, playing with only three is kind of silly. And it gave me, Ricky H., Ryan, and Morgan a chance to just hang out for once. And no Eric, which made me just as happy as a Boston cream pie.
Plus, I followed Ricky into Nostalgia Ink (the local comic book/RPG/nerd store, right next to the Thunderbird), because he wanted to borrow some money for 20-sided dice, and I was looking through the roleplaying books, since I want to run my own game eventually. And then I saw it. The DragonLance Campaign Setting book. As I'm a fan of the novels, I had to have it. So I called Dad and convinced him to lend me $40 for the book, which is now sitting right next to me. I'm in love with it just for the art (eeeeeeeeeeh the kenders are so adorable!!!). I don't think I'd be able to run a game until college, if only because that's how long it will take me to get enough books to run a decent game.
Don IMed me today. It was pretty much an insult-fest. Finally convinced me to block him. So no more from him unless he gets it into his head to email me or whatever.
Went grocery shopping with Katy H. today. Sounds weird, but anything to hang out, you know? She's trying to set me up with her ex, this carney who's coming back into town that she kind of wants to get off my back. So yeah, she's sorta using me (which she admitted), but she said she also to help me get a nice guy, especially after Don and all. Then we bought Yoohoos and Fiji water and some sammiches and donuts and had fun yelling at Ron (the guy she wants to set me up with) on the phone. He pretty much figured she was out to set him up with me from the beginning. He's pretty cool; Katy wants me to help her cut and dye his hair (blue) next week. Apparently I'm getting paid and she's not. Heehee! And we'll be hanging out tomorrow, and if mom gives the okay I'm going to dye my hair. I'll take pics, guys, don't worry. =P
