Eheh. I'm selling a bunch of my old books and manga that I don't want anymore, and I figured I'd see if anyone on my f-list wants to buy any manga before I stick 'em up on Amazon.com. This is what I'm getting rid of:

Aria vol. 1
Hot Gimmick vol. 1-12
Kami Kaze vol. 1
Kodocha (aka Kodomo no Omocha) vol. 1-9
Marmalade Boy vol. 1
Mars vol. 1 (I have two copies of this), 2, 4, 15
Nodame Cantabile vol. 1
Tokyo Boys & Girls vol. 1-5
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle vol. 1
Wild Act vol. 2-4

They're $5 each. If you're interested, email me and we'll work something out.

Also, having finished Harry Potter, I'm looking for some book reccomendations. Currently I've been reading Tanya Huff, Kim Harrison, and Jim Butcher because I've been trying to find something to replace my obsession with HP and my original love of the Anita Blake series. I like fantasy and supernatural/horror fiction, but not sci-fi. Dragons are awesome, vampires are old hat, and I am an absolute sucker for hopeless, unrequited love. So far I've just got Neil Gaiman and HP Lovecraft on my list. Anyone want to share the literary love?

I love reading [livejournal.com profile] stupid_free when I'm bored, but Christ on a cracker, if I hear "LOL fandom, you're just butthurt because you can't read your underage Snarry pr0nz" ONE MORE TIME ... well, I'll probably just scream into a pillow, but it's still frustrating. I get it, SFers, you don't like fandom and you think fanfic/art is creepy/a waste of time and effort/lollersauce/nothing but smut, that's great for you. Could you maybe stop with the fifty million threads bashing on fandom whenever it gets brought up, no matter how fleeting the reference? Fandom itself doesn't count as stupid.

Gah, I feel like I need to re-post that rant I wrote a few months ago about one's preferences not invalidating someone else's.

Also, new icon, dudes!
