My roommate and her boyfriend are having a big fight in the other room. He's accusing her of cheating on him; she's crying on and off, and apparently he's been looking through her stuff and through her cellphone and diary. I'm going to go find my headphones in a bit, but I almost don't want to - it's like a freaking train wreck, you know? You don't really want to look (or hear, in this case), and you know you probably shouldn't, but you really can't help yourself. I honestly don't like listening to people argue, especially when there's a lot of screaming and crying involved, but my damn curiosity won't let me just tune them out. Plus, part of me is always afraid that someone is going to get violent when people get that upset.
In other news, I gave Nick his Hello Cthulhu Valentine today, and he was amused, so that went well.
I had a paper due at 6:00, and I was only two or three paragraphs from finishing it when I accidentally deleted the entire thing - at 4:00. So I panicked and started freaking out, but I managed to get it re-typed and hand it in, albeit sans cover letter. I think I'm just lucky I had most of the material still fresh in my brain, and Oz looking over my shoulder to remind me of lines she particularly liked that I was forgetting.
And finally, Zac accidentally head-butted me in the left eye. I'm not injured, but the lens popped out of my glasses and a screw came out, so now the frames are loose and I can't just pop the lens back in. I have my contacts, so I won't be walking around half blind tomorrow, but right now I've got nothing, since it really doesn't seem worth it to put them in when I'm going to take them out in an hour or two. I tried using my little glasses repair kit, but none of the screws fit. Nick's supposed to be giving me a ride to the store tomorrow anyway, and he said he needs to have his glasses fixed too, so he might give me a ride to Lenscrafters or some other eyeglasses store so I can see if they can fix them.
Goddamnit, they're STILL arguing, and they're getting louder. Headphones time, now. I think I'm going to have to wait them out to go to bed ... Someone please make them shut the hell up soon.
