Got my stitches out today. The lady who took them out said I was being really mature and brave and stuff, since I didn't say "ouch" or yell or anything, and only a few people have been like me -- and most of the people she works on are adults. So, coolies.

I've been playing FFIX again (PSX, not online); is it just me, or am I a ditz for having to refer to a guide to get everything in the game? I went through it first with only a couple glances online when I got stuck; now I'm completely following an online guide. Ditz? Dumbass? Copping out? Just trying to get the best out of the game? ::dies::

You aren't a ditz. I follow the guides EVERY TIME, first or not, because I've had experiences with playing games on my own and then missing the "hidden but very important to the story and essential to finish the game" item. Sometimes it's just wiser to use the guide. :)
