Gee, guys, I'm rich! I got a whole seven dollars for my used books! :D

I probably would have gotten at least five more for the Japanese book (or not - I did scribble in it a lot), but I still need that for tomorrow's exam - and to be honest, I wanted to keep it so I could practice over winter break. I'm kind of surprised they took the Psychology book at all, since at the beginning of the semester the professor told us that they weren't going to be buying the older books back. But thanks to the generosity of WMU, they gave me three dollars for an eighty-dollar textbook. Thanks, guys!

If I have any luck, I will get a C on both the Psychology and the Religion exams. Psych I'm not too worried about -- it's Religion that's going to bite me in the ass, I know it. I couldn't answer the last essay question on the exam this morning at all. I couldn't remember anything they asked me to write, so I just turned it in without the last question. Unfortunately, that question is worth 25 points out of a total of 125. I'm screwed.

I went to Robin's house on Monday and we watched anime for about six or seven hours. I'm now hooked on Ouran Host Club, and I borrowed some more anime. I'll be watching Ouran, Loveless, Slayers, Rurouni Kenshin, Prince of Tennis, Fruits Basket, Trigun, and more for a good chunk of break. (Between attempting to beat Final Fantasy XII and making Christmas presents, of course.) I'm also going to finish Chrono Crusade. I've watched up to episode eleven on Ouran so far, and tomorrow night I'm going to try to finish the series.

Please don't! I could burn copies for you on disc if you really wanted. *hides the anime*

I love this icon and I wish I knew who made it. It's hilarious and yet totally creepy at the same time.

Aww, I'm not really gonna. I've already got them anyway. ^^

I hate the way they give you so little money for your books back-- if I was more motivated I'd sell to Amazon or half.com. It's not much given the value of the books and what they plan to resell them for, but it's better than $3 for an $80 book. I remember I lugged my books to the bookstore to sell them back and made... wwell, it didn't justify the effort of nearly herniating a disc carrying them, that's for sure. Ever since, I've donated the books I don't want (it's just easier) and shipped home what I wanted to keep.

It wasn't nearly this bad last year, but then last year I had more than two books to sell back, and they were mostly hardcover and all being used the next semester. This is just ridiculous - I barely have enough to go out for coffee with my friend tonight.

Slayers: As an LKH fan, read the novels. I was way out of anime when I'd read the slayers novel, simply because Lina's POV sounded so much like Anita pre-humping and sans irritating pretentiousness. The Novel is by Hajime Kankaza and should be in a Borders or Barnes and Nobles.

Trigun, YAY. Ouran, YAY. Chrno OMFGYAY. The rest I can't say I saw, myself.

And baaah on the religion D= In essay questions, can't you purple prose your way through a big bullshit?

I'll look for the novels when I can afford it. Right now I'm just lucky my friend has so much anime for me to save to my hard drive.

Chrno is indeed yay! I've got the entire manga, which was awesome, so I really want to finish the anime and see how much they differ. That, and Chrno/Rosette is love.

And I would bullshit my way through it if I could remember ANYTHING about the question at all. Hell, this is stuff I definitely should have known because we went over it on the midterm, and I got a 90 out of 100 on that test.

Heh, my wife adores Ouran (http://users.livejournal.com/_tigerprincess_/36375.html).

You evil, evil man. Now I'm tempted to go watch Ouran and I need to study for my Japanese final tomorrow. Arg! (But oh, the cosplay is so awesome!)
