I just about gave myself a heart attack a couple minutes ago. I thought I'd lost my keys on the way back from dinner. I went back to the Bigelow caf to look for them, and I checked at the spot where I met Stephanie to work on our German homework. I was on the verge of freaking out, too, because not only would I have to pay almost $200 to replace the dorm keys (and of course I don't have enough to pay that), but my car and house keys were on there as well.
It turns out I just left them in my room, but from now on I'm going to be double-checking every time I leave. I think the only reason I forgot is because Sarah was in the room when I left, so I didn't need to lock the door. Since I started college, this is the only time I've ever left the building (or any building that I've called home) without my keys, so it's not like this is becoming a habit. Still, I'd better spare myself the extra stress, because I definitely don't need it.
