Only four days and my dorm room's already trashed. Whoops. Guess I'd better pick up before tomorrow.

I'm trying to decide whether I want to rewrite my Harry Potter fanfic first, or if I want to start the Princess Mononoke idea I thought of last night and then do the rewrite. On the one hand, I really should finish what I start, especially since I usually don't even finish the rough draft on most of my stories; but on the other, it might do some good to put some time and some different ideas between me and the HP piece before I work on it again - might help me come at it from a different perspective and get rid of some of that "everything I write is crap and it's too embarrassing to read" feeling I get whenever I even think of opening the file. And I DO need to write more, instead of just coming up with ideas and thinking about what I'd like to see happen - I can't really call myself a writer if I never go through the actual process.

Also, I'd better go down to the Bronco Mall and apply to Taco Bell and Beaner's soon, before they finish hiring and some freshman gets the spot instead of me. They're not glamorous jobs, and I know I've said before I'd rather work at Walmart than in fast food again, but they're on campus and I wouldn't be working eight-hour shifts in a stifling hot factory.

Eh, I'm going to head down there soon anyway, seeing as how I'm starving and all I have is ramen and granola bars. Might as well pick up the applications and turn them in tonight.

Weren't you in kalamazoo all summer you could have applied for the jobs a hell of a lot sooner, hell if I'd known you were looking for a job there were openings in the dishroom at Bigelow cafeteria about a week or two ago probably gone now though.

I've been looking on and off all summer, and right now I've got a temp job that I can work on Fridays, but it'd be easier if I could get a job on or closer to campus.
