Talked to Nick Monday night. I didn't tell him what was going on, really, just that I was having a hard time and that I thought it was pathetic that I couldn't even get an online boyfriend. He asked why I wanted an online boyfriend and said that I didn't really need a boyfriend in real life, either.
He's right. An online boyfriend is, essentially, a long distance relationship. And those things suck. They don't really work. Plus, what with my prior experience with online dating, I should be shying away at the mere mention of such things. And I'll be going to college a year. Any local relationship I have at that time will most likely become a long distance relationship, and I'll be back where I started. (Not that I can find a decent guy around here, anyway. My psychologist is right; I'm not going to find a guy or girl I can really get along with until college.)
Sorry to everyone for all the griping and whining and bitching about how everything and everyone sucks.
