I swear, if there weren't already some in the house, I'd sell my soul for a cup of coffee. Neil takes forever to get to sleep, even on his meds, and by 7:00, if not earlier, he's up and wanting all of us up too -- and Mom and I are still dragging ourselves out of bed. He's playing his Spiderman game right now.
Yesterday we went to the aquarium, and I learned a very good lesson -- feed him before we leave the house. Otherwise he gets even more cranky than usual. The aquarium was fun, though I think I liked it more than Neil did. The room he liked best had a lot of sunlight streaming down from the ceiling through mist, and that's what he was interested in, not the fish or the otters or the sharks. Though he did like the jellyfish. He also hit me for telling him no, and he almost kicked this elderly woman who sat on the bench while we were waiting for Mom to pick us up. Mom says it's because of his new environment, and because he's not used to this place yet. I hope so.
We're going to a waterpark today, and one of Jan's friends is going too, so I'll have some help with Neil today. Thank goodness. I like him, but he can be pretty annoying, and hard to handle.
I almost had a panic attack a few minutes ago, because I thought I didn't have KMFDM's Anarchy on my iRiver. Silly thing to freak out about, but I have it! Wee! Besides, that's the first song of theirs I ever heard. It rocks.
And, obviously, I DO have internet access here. So woo! (And I'm still trying to get a hold of Nick. Pick up your damn phone, wouldja?!)
