Anyone ever had a supernatural experience -- one that made you think you were in touch with a ghost?

I have two. The first one, though maybe not in chronological order, happened maybe three, four years ago. I was lying in bed at my dad's house, trying to get to sleep, and I was near the edge of the bed facing the wall. I felt something pushing on the edge of the bed, like someone was sitting there. The only problem was that I couldn't feel anyone sitting behind me when my body leaned in toward the pressure, and there had been no sounds of any kind before it happened. My dad is loud, and my room is messy; if he goes in at night, he won't turn on the light, and usually ends up muttering to himself as he picks his way through the crap on my floor. Plus, in that position he usually puts a hand on my head or shoulder. I don't remember how long it lasted, but until the pressure lifted I was frozen in place.

About a year later, near Halloween, my mom's boyfriend was having a Halloween party and my mom had let me stay home alone that weekend, since there wouldn't be anyone my age there. I'd tried to see if I could spend the night at my friend Savannah's house, but both of her siblings had friends over. So about 10 at night, I had just gotten my pajamas on, and I was about to go to bed when I heard what sounded like someone walking around upstairs.

Now, my house is 174 years old. I do know that old houses creak and make strange noises. But then again, I've put myself to bed all the time at that house when my mom's been at her boyfriend's, and I have never heard anything like that before, or ever again, for that matter. I ended up getting dressed as quietly as possible, crawling out my window, going to the neighbor's house, and calling Savannah so her dad could come and check to see if anyone was in the house. Well, there was no one there, and I had just started putting myself to bed when I got a call from Savannah. "My dad's on his way to your house. When he got home without you, my mom started shouting, 'How could you leave her alone like that?!'" So, I spent my night at Savannah's house, watching something that appeared to be similar to the Aurora Borealis (it was red, though, so I don't know what it was).

On another note, I'm going to be dying my hair this weekend. I'll used up the film in our camera and post a before and after pic, but I can't really decide what color to use; green, blue, purple, or red. I want to do red, because it will go better with my coloring and it won't turn so ugly when it fades (purple turns grey, blue turns moldy green). But Russell wants to dye his hair red too. I don't want him to think I'm obsessed... Bah. I dunno. Lemme know what you think?

I can't be losing sleep over this, no I can't
And now I can not stop pacing
Give me a few hours, I'll have all this sorted out
If my mind would just stop racing

'Cause I cannot stand still
I can't be this unsturdy
This cannot be happening

This is over my head but underneath my feet
'Cause by tomorrow morning I'll have this thing beat
And everything will be back to the way that it was
I wish that it was just that easy

'Cause I'm waiting for tonight
Then waiting for tomorrow
And I'm somewhere in between
What is real, and just a dream

Would you catch me if I fall out of what I fell in
Don't be surprised if I collapse down at your feet again
I don't want to run away from this
I know that I just don't need this

'Cause I cannot stand still
I can't be this unsturdy
This cannot be happening

'Cause I'm wating for tonight
Then waiting for tomorrow
And I'm somewhere in between
What is real and just a dream
