Thanks, Jason, you really had me coming away from that conversation saying "What an understanding guy! I can't believe I was ever upset with him!" I don't even think I want to make it a boy/girl thing, I want to make it a "let's just hang out and have fun" thing. I've been crying off and on all night because of this conversation.
It didn't really help that what was supposed to be me and Will just hanging out turned into me, Will, and Andy walking through the snow to the Little Theatre to see 2046. I mean, it was a good movie and all, but now I'm exhausted, and I snapped at half the people I was with (we met up with Nathan and Max and a few other people I don't know and hung out in Draper for an hour or so afterward). This is the second night I've hung out with a lot of people, and after a while it just wears on me. It's hard enough for me to keep up a conversation with one person -- throw even one more person into the mix and I clam up because the conversation just kind of turns to other stuff, and if I DO open my mouth I'm ignored until I repeat myself loudly and often enough to get through, or I'm shut down with a quick rebuttal that I can't really answer.
