We just had our floor meeting, and I have discovered the presence of three hot German students on our floor. The most delicious one, Christian, is from Paraborn Paderborn (apparently I've been hearing it wrong - oops!), which is where I will hopefully be studying in January. (And by delicious, I mean distractingly blue-eyed and blond, with short, slightly curly hair, and a few inches taller than me, and the most wonderful accent I have ever heard a German utter. And he lives down the hall! Joyousness!)

I might have possibly made a fool of myself when I talked to him, but Jill (my roommate) just says that I should be more positive about myself. Of course, she also says I should ask him for help with my homework by knocking on his door and saying "Hello, hot German man, would you help me with my homework?" Not happening.

And now, Penelo fanart!

Mmmm... blond curly hair.....I always liked curly hair. (It's fun to sproing. ^_^)

And that's actually pretty good.

There are so many hot guys on my floor (and on the first floor, too). Lots of eye candy for this year :3

Thanks! I actually like everything but the shading, and that doesn't bug me so much that I didn't stick it on the wall above my desk. Penelo's too damn cute not to draw.

*jealous because she never got to go to a real college with dorms and look at the cute guys*

I don't know what's so weird about blue shading though.

It just looks kind of off to me. The only reason I tried it was because black makes skin look dirty, IMO, and I figured peach is close to orange, so why not use blue for shading since it's the compliment color to orange? But then I used gray to shade everything else, so it kinda looks wrong when I compare it to the shading on her clothes, and it's a lot more blue than I expected it to be (I used a blender). I'm considering using brown or gray next time and hoping that doesn't make it look too murky.

Yeah, it's this colorless pencil that you use over the colored areas to smear it deeper into the paper. It makes the colors a lot more vibrant and (hopefully) blends them together so the individual strokes aren't so obvious.

I'm a hopeless perfectionist when it comes to my drawings and writing, and I like to hold myself up against people who are REALLY good and despair that I'll never be like that.

Paderborn. *giggles*

(Greet him with "Ja... halloo erstmaal")

(A famous German stand-up comedian from Paderborn, RĂ¼diger Hoffmann, always starts his show with that) XD
