THE COLOR SCHEME BURNS MY EYES!

I don't mind the yellow/orange scheme, even though when I change to a different colored screen (usually white) I get an afterimage that makes me blink. That I can deal with. It's the blue header/link text, and the pink link text that makes me want to tear my eyes out and put them in vinegar.

Somebody change the color scheme...

Tut tut, looks like they went for one of the default LJ color schemes... and lost. 0_o

Seems like anything other than the really dark colored schemes on LJ (and maybe the blues) burn eyes. There are exceptions, but a lot of them that are generally okay tend to have hideous link colors to go with them.

I also hate, believe it or not, black backgrounds with white text. They're HIGH CONTRAST colors. When you've got a lot of text in a block, it's well-nigh unreadable.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who glances from one page to another and has to wait for the afterimages to go away. Try etiquette hell. Once you go to another website you'll be whimpering. Or maybe that's just me.
