I've decided not to do NaNoWriMo this year. I'd have to write at least 1,666 words a day, and considering that on top of my precisely honed procrastinating skills, I have four classes, a social life that finally consists of more than going to Whimsy and BAMBA and hoping that I will run into my friends at lunch, and that I have no idea how to start the story I want to write, I'm likely to finish November with less than 1,000 words. Maybe I'll participate when I have more time.

I have an interview at the Taco Hut (Taco Bell/Pizza Hut) on campus Monday morning. With any luck I'll get the job, and then I can start saving up for Germany, and a new laptop, and maybe even a Wii. I also have an assessment with the counseling center Monday, so I'll actually be able to talk to someone and hopefully get some help for my trust and self esteem issues.

I'm trying to finish that Harry Potter fic I started this summer, but because I changed the end I'm not sure how to finish it. I'm half convinced that it's completely OOC and stupid, but I'm going to force myself to finish it anyway just so I can say that I actually finish stuff that's longer than a couple hundred words. I've got to start writing more, or else I can't really say that I like to write, you know? I hope it's just procrastination refusing to go away, and not me building this up when deep down I really don't like it. I think I've just hit a wall, like with my drawing, and usually when it gets hard I give up. So hopefully if I keep working and pushing it'll get a little easier, or at least easier to stick with it.

Also, I really need to get around to watching the first two seasons of Avatar. It would probably be easier for me to keep up when I watch it with friends if I know more than the basic storyline and half of the end of the second season.
