I really, really dislike when people lie to my face, when I know they've done what I've asked them about, and they know I know.

She's done this twice now; once about the phone card, and now about telling someone else about something I assumed would remain between the two of us, because it was rather private information. She claims she doesn't know what I'm talking about, that she doesn't talk to this person much anymore, but she's the only person I told who even talks to that person.

I guess I've learned a lesson; don't trust this person, and stop talking so much.

You should take the English approach to this. Breathe in and out deeply, make yourself a cup of Earl Gray, sit down in front of the telly... then slam their head on a pike.

Or at least throw a milkshake.

I'd take the pike approach if I knew where to procure one.
