Much better now, being full of yummy sushi and sukiyaki (which wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but still nummy). And I even have leftovers!

I've been replaying Kingdom Hearts to get the story down, and I have to say that I finally realized why Disney is so necessary - without Disney, Kingdom Hearts would emo all over my brand new carpet! Goddamnit! itself. It would just be another Final Fantasy, and while I do dearly love my FF, the games are a breeding ground for endless angst and woe. Sora is just the cutest, friendliest protagonist Square's ever produced - he can't be emo. It's physically impossible. His body rejects the foul stuff. But Donald and Goofy are what keep him from letting the emo darkness in and giving up hope. I mean, he's always got hope that he'll find Riku and/or Kairi, but he sees them so little that he needs Goofy and Donald to keep him chipper. If he was alone, I think he would have fallen to the darkness a long time ago.

And I'm done with my pseudo-insight for the night. Later!

I still have yet to play Kingdom Hearts. I don't have the time right now anyway, but someday I'd like to give it a go.

If you ever do get the time, I'll be happy to lend it to you! I've just finished my play-through, and tomorrow I'm lending it to my friend who finally got herself a PS2. So it'll probably be available this summer if you're interested!

Well, if there's a chance I can have access to a TV this summer I'll go for it. Right now I don't have my own bedroom so when I'm home, I'm kind of camped in the corner of the livingroom/diningroom/kitchen and sharing my TV with everyone. If I can get my parents to let me have the loft and sleep on the hide-a-bed-couch-thing, then maybe I can have a TV up there...
