I have this urge to update. I have nothing to update about. I am tired and should probably go to bed, as I have a headache and need to leave at 10:00 am so I can get home at 11 and get my stuff from Dad, then pick up the brother at noon from the grandma's. But I also want to update and surf the web, and I want to call Nick in a few minutes. So that'll have to wait.

Wanna know some reasons why we don't get along?

1. A few years ago, my mom took a photograph of a lighthouse that I'd taken, blew it up, and had it framed, and was going to give it as a birthday gift to Cheryl, Robbie's aunt. Only for some reason Cheryl said that she wouldn't accept gifts from either me or Mom, and Mom ended up getting so mad that she broke the frame and ruined the picture. A pity, since Mom really loves lighthouses.

2. A couple years ago, Rob went trick-or-treating by himself. He was given a set time and place to meet Mom and Mark. He was worried he wasn't going to make it, and that they would be mad at him... so he tried to hitchhike. Got someone to pull over, too, but he finally used common sense and just walked to the place where he was supposed to meet them. Grandma finds out about this. Grandma calls Child Services, because apparently it's Mom's fault that my brother doesn't use his goddamn brain. Grandma's also done this the first time we left Robbie home alone, and he fell asleep, then woke up and got scared because there was nobody there.

3. Blatant favoritism. For holidays and birthday, Rob gets more presents, and they're always fun. Me, I get jewelry (which I must admit is nice) and old lady sweaters.

I'm starting to not hate my ex-stepdad, and I don't mind seeing him or talking to him once in a while, but the grandma I'd rather just not have anything to do with.
