Dear gods, can our school get any more hypocritical?

Jessica was at graduation rehearsal this morning, but when we practiced going across the stage she wasn't there, and she'd asked me to give her and Chris a ride home. I looked with Chris for a little while, then decided to leave since I was giving Li and Kate a ride home. Well, I realized I hadn't given mom her graduation invitations, so I ran in, and Jessica and Chris were sitting on the steps in front of the door, and Jess was bawling. So, being the sympathetic friend that I am, I asked what was wrong.

They're not letting her graduate because she's missing half a credit.

Half a FUCKING credit. Goddamn, they're letting Beth W. graduate, and she's a junior with only 35 credits! (We need 45 to graduate at JHS.) Jason K. is only graduating probably because his parents paid the damn school to let him! What the fuck is wrong with our school, when those assholes get to graduate with FAR less credits than needed, and a student who's missing half a credit has to repeat?!

And don't get me started on the fact that they tell her this THE DAY BEFORE GRADUATION. Way to go, J-High! You've managed to make a senior girl cry.

I am SO fucking glad that I'm leaving this school.

... tell me why I'm graduating again? Oh, that's right, they want to be rid of me. Me and the fact that I cost them more than I bring in for the school.

I get the feeling that if they could've done it, they'dve killed me and saved themselves the trouble.

... I'll have to move and take high school all over again. This diploma that we're getting? Worthless.

Are you serios? That is such bullshit. They are letting people like David F. Chris F. and a bunch of other rich pothead stoners pass...and not Jessica who works super hard. I say we burn the place down.

Gods, I cannot believe Chris F. is graduating. I barely know who the guy is, and I know he should NOT be walking.

According to Mom, they're even letting kids walk who need to make up credits in summer school. And they've NEVER done that before.

that sucks hard. the school clearly would have known that several weeks ago, when there was enough time to correct it. but i'll tell you guys, college is no different. still, poor girl.
